The weekend

Hey!

This weekend I've been at my boardingschool, because we had some events on the school.
Saturday we had a parentsday, where our parents came to the school. They should follow us for a day, to get an idea of our life at the school, and what we're doing at the adventure class. My mom and I were rowing in a canoe, and we were climbing on the schools climbingwall. My mom thought, that the climbing was best. She was shaking when she came down from the wall, because she was so scared. She said that she had an adrenaline rush up there.

Sunday there were "boardingschools day" and we got a lot of visiters to our school. "Boardingschool day" is a day, were we're showing our school, to (maybe) new students. I was one of the guides, and I showed 4 people around, but I've heard that we had 200 to 300 visitors. Sunday we were showing our upcoming class, it's a class for writers, were you're learning how to write your own book.

My latest experiences

Hey!

I've experienced a lot, the last two weeks! I've rappelled, my school helped the police to practise how to handle school shootings and I've been on a three days trip with my adventure class.

For about two weeks ago, we took a bus to another city, to rappel from a building that's 42 metres tall! It was one of the most frightening things I've ever tried, but i did it, and it was so exiting!

A nother day a lot of policemen came to our school, to practise how they would handle a schoolshooting. The students should play panicing and scared kids, and we should try to stress the police as much as possible! It was really funny, and all the students thought that it was interesting to play scared! By the end of the day, we talked with the teachers and the police, and we agreed that we all had a nice day.

In the end of the two weeks, we were on a trip with my adventure class. We started our trip with a Kayak tour, the next day we took on another trip with the canoe, and we slept in tents and made food over the fire.

That's was all i had to say for now.

Cross Culture

Cross Culture

Explore the world

Hey! My name is Jennie, and i'm 16 years old.

The 12'th of August, i started at Venoe boardingschool. I started in the "Cross Culture" Class, were we're going to meet and learn about other Cultures! I've been at the school for about two weeks now. We're almost just started in this class, because we had to meet each other and get to know the school.

Venoe boardingschool is placed on a island. There's good nature and it gives us the oppertunity to do sorts of things in the nature, like sailing, climing, rapelling and surfing! I've chose this school because i love the nature, and i'd like to challenge myself. I've chose to specialize myself in the nature. We're doing a lot of climbing, rapelling and sailing, and it's super exiting!

In Cross Culture we're going to meet new countries and different cultures! I think it's very exiting to learn about new culture, and i love the learn and become better at other languages. So i'm looking forward to see, how it's going to turn out.
